Nothing has changed almost 4 years on. All the information below is as relevant today as it was when we first published this blog almost 4 years ago. We are still frustrated with sellers on eBay and more specifically a Melbourne Manufacturer that wont supply correct documentation to prove the product the claim to sell is what they actually sell. Okay so you don't know which down to select. We have so many to choose from, which one is the best and why? Is Polish Goose down better than Hungarian Goose down? What Is Fill Power?

What is fill power? Fill power is a measure of the loft or "fluffiness" of a down product that is loosely related to the insulating value of the down. The higher the fill power the more air an ounce of the down can trap, and thus the more insulating ability an ounce of the down will have. We use the recognised European method for calculating fill power, not the USA method.
